This year I have planned NOT to make any Halloween cookies. I just don't have the spirit...But all of a sudden I decided that my kids are not guilty for my laziness. Anyway, they are kids and need to be surprised. That's why I baked some of my traditional vanilla cookies.
My first idea was to keep them as simple as possible. I didn't plan to make any fondant decorations but...look at what happened.
Being honest, at the end of the day I was so tired making the dough, rolling it out, cutting the cookies, baking...and then the fondant that I made short work of the decorations. And although I didn't pay too much attention to the details, my kids were very happy. That's the main point.
